Sian Kaan... contacto con la naturaleza

Merely 800 yards south of Dos Ceibas is located the entrance to the ecological reserve of Sian Ka'an. Sian Ka'an is the third largest biosphere reserve in Mexican territory with approximately half a million hectares.

This important ecosystem includes savanna, mangrove, jungle, lagoons and cenotes.

The animal species found here are among crocodiles, manatee, jaguar, pecari, ant-eaters, an ample variety of land and sea birds, lake and lagoon fish and a rich array of sea life in the vicinity of the coral reef.

A visit to this wild life reserve is a must. We, at Dos Ceibas, can make the necessary arrangements for a guided tour with the authorized organizations that make the preservation of this natural wonder a constant effort.
