The average temperature in the Tulum is 26 C° (75 F°) and can climb to 35 C° (86 F°) during the summer months. The average humidity ranges from 70 to 80%.

What to bring:

Light cotton clothing preferably light colors, hat, sandals, sneakers, sunglasses, sun cream, insect repellent, flashlight, and please do not forget to bring your medicine.

If you wish to exchange currency, Euros, Dollars or traveler's cheques, this can be best done at the local banks in the town of Tulum.
Electricity: Electricity is 110-120 Volts within Mexican territory.

Local Language: Maya. In the tourist atmosphere English, Italian, French and German are commonly spoken.
Mosquito Happy Hour: During late afternoons, apply mosquito repellent and preferably wear trousers.
Using the Phone: The area code for the Riviera Maya (From Playa del Carmen to Tulum) is 984.
