Coba archaeological Site.
Cobá is located 45 Kilometres west of the Town of Tulum, towards to Valladolid.
- It is a charming site due to the impressive jungle vegetation and surrounding water formations. To enjoy it better, it's more suitable to rent a bicycle.
The beauty of Lake Cobá can be admired from the top of the great pyramid of Nohochmul of 42 meters (140 ft approx). Nohochmul is the highest Maya edification in the whole penúnsula of Yucatan.
Cobá, with its numerous constructions and "sacbes" (white stone paths) hidden in the middle of the jungle vegetation, offers the visitors, even to this date, a magical sense of wanting to return.
